Nosocomial infection by multi-drug resistant bacteria (MDR) e.g: extended-spectrumBeta-lactamase(ESBL) producing Enterobacteriaceae, Acinetobacter baumannii and carbapenem-resistant Enterobacteriaceae (CRE) is increased worldwide, with major burden due to limited choices of antibiotics (Peleg & Hooper, 2010, Magiorakos et al.,2012). Tigecycline (TIG) and Colistin (COL) are examples of the few drugs that are available for treatment of these resistant pathogens (Giamarellou &Poulakou, 2009).
